Is 'mujameleh' allowed in Islam? I mean to say nice words to a liar ("What you say is correct", "You are a truthful person", etc.) to try to persuade him to give you your rights, or to give compliments to someone to make him like you while you do not mean any of those words? Avoiding cheating in the first place is better than cheating and then repenting
As'Salmmu'Alyakum I asked about cheating and I was redirected to some fatwas, but they didn't answer my question. I know that cheating is a sin, but if the cheater repents they may be free on any punishment. Studying in a textbook that contains a false religious statement
